By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Slybook ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Software.

Slybook grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Software in accordance with these Terms.

Your access may be suspended or terminated at any time if you violate these Terms.

Slybook is a general-purpose productivity tool designed to support note-taking, talking points, and collaboration during live meetings.

The Software is not designed for any specific regulated, restricted, or monitored environment.

You are solely responsible for determining whether use of the Software is permitted in any context.

You agree not to use Slybook to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or contractual obligation
• Infringe upon intellectual property or privacy rights
• Misrepresent your identity or qualifications
• Use the Software in environments where external tools or assistance are explicitly prohibited
• Gain unfair or unauthorized advantage in academic, hiring, certification, or evaluation processes
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or redistribute the Software

Slybook is provided as a general-purpose tool.

We do not control, monitor, or supervise how you use the Software.

By using Slybook, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for your use of the Software
• You will comply with all applicable rules, policies, agreements, and laws
• You are responsible for determining whether use of the Software is permitted in any given situation
• Any consequences resulting from your use or misuse are your responsibility

You acknowledge that the Software includes features such as overlays, visibility controls, and collaborative inputs that may not be appropriate in all contexts.

You assume all risks associated with using the Software, including any consequences resulting from use in restricted, monitored, or prohibited environments.

The existence of such features does not imply that their use is appropriate or permitted in every situation.

Slybook does not endorse, encourage, or condone the use of the Software in any context where external assistance, hidden notes, or third-party tools are prohibited.

Use of the Software in such contexts is solely at your own risk.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Software will be uninterrupted or error-free
• All features will function in every environment
• Any visibility or overlay behavior will perform consistently across all systems or platforms

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLYBOOK AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
• LOSS OF DATA, INCOME, BUSINESS, OR OPPORTUNITY
• PROFESSIONAL, ACADEMIC, OR EMPLOYMENT-RELATED CONSEQUENCES
• ANY OUTCOME RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR MISUSE OF THE SOFTWARE

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slybook, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Software
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any law, policy, or third-party rights

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing presented at the time of purchase.

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

Refunds, if applicable, are subject to the terms presented during purchase.

You retain ownership of all content you create using Slybook.

Slybook does not claim ownership over your data. For more details, please refer to the Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, you must stop using the Software.

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of Slybook after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws.

Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable legal processes in the relevant jurisdiction.
