Billing & Refund Policy

How subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work for Slybook paid plans.

Overview

This Billing & Refund Policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work for Slybook paid plans processed through Polar.

By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to this policy and our Terms of Service.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal linked in your Slybook dashboard.

Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period unless we terminate your account for violation of the Terms.

Canceling does not automatically refund amounts already paid for the current period.

Monthly plans

Monthly subscriptions (Pro + AI and Pro + AI Plus, billed monthly) are non-refundable once payment is processed.

If you cancel a monthly plan, you will not be charged again, but the current month (or current billing period) is not refunded.

Annual plans

Annual subscriptions may be refunded only if all of the following are true:

  • The request is submitted within 72 hours of the first payment for that annual subscription on your account;
  • It is your first paid annual purchase on that account (renewals and upgrades are not eligible);
  • You have not started a live meeting session or used any AI assistance feature (including transcription, Ask, or post-call summary).

After 72 hours from payment, or after any live or AI usage, the annual payment is final and non-refundable.

Usage consumption

For all paid plans, starting a live session or using AI assistance counts as use of your subscription, even if use lasted less than one minute.

Once consumption has occurred in a billing period, that period's payment is non-refundable.

Exceptions

We may issue a refund or credit at our sole discretion for duplicate charges, billing errors confirmed by our records, or failure to deliver access after payment.

Contact us promptly with your account email and charge date. If approved, we refund to the same payment method you used at checkout.

How to request a refund

Email support@slybook.com with your account email, plan type, purchase date, and reason.

Include any relevant receipts. We review eligible requests and follow up by email with the outcome.
